PRESS RELEASE
3 March 2020

Alma Property Partners establishes new retail destination in Sollentuna

In November 2020, Alma Property Partners and Mässing Properties will open a new 30,000 square meter retail destination including restaurants and wellness offerings in Sollentuna.

The new retail concept is superbly located at the intersection where the E4 highway, which runs between Stockholm and Arlanda airport, intersects with Norrortsleden and the Stockholm bypass project (Förbifart). The intersection, which is already one of the busiest and most important traffic hubs in Stockholm, will become even busier once the bypass highway is opened for traffic.

The retail property, which goes by the name “Häggvik”, will include two major grocery stores, Willys and City Gross, with the pharmacy Kronans Apotek in between. Willys and City Gross have previously had stores in the neighborhood, but the new stores will be more modern and efficient with, among other things, pick-up points for customers who buy their food online.

Dollarstore, Jula, Jysk, and a yet-to-be-named electronics chain will also establish new stores in Häggvik and there will also be healthcare and wellness offerings provided by SATS, Attundahälsan and Aktivera Rehab.

All the retail and wellness premises in Häggvik have been leased and a number of restaurants will also establish themselves at Häggvik to create an exciting food destination.

Simon de Château, Partner and CIO at Alma Property Partners says: “In a strategic partnership with Mässing Properties, Alma Property Partners is creating a modern shopping destination in Häggvik adapted to the future retail needs of tenants and consumers. We have also had a very good cooperation with the municipality of Sollentuna, which has enabled this project to move forward. We are now putting the final pieces in place and we have several ongoing discussions with restaurant chains to lease up the remaining space. The catchment area is huge with close to 250,000 potential Häggvik customers within a 10-minute journey who will benefit from more convenient everyday shopping. We are excited to welcome these customers to this modern retail, food and wellness hub when stores open in November.”
